Practical solutions for common tile installation challenges is not just their company motto; it has been a successful Schluter® tradition since 1975—and why they're one of our trusted partners at Crossville Studios.
For over 35 years, Schluter®-Systems has chosen to incorporate recycled material into the manufacturing of many of its products. They strive to reuse and recycle scrap and regrind materials in production, thus diverting materials from the waste stream. All of their products are designed to increase the longevity of tile installations, and overtime reducing our carbon footprint—that's something we can get behind!
We have access to all of Schluter® products at each of our branches, but we only stock certain products - please call your local showroom to confirm inventory or place an order.
At Crossville Studios, we can assist with more than just placing an order—we offer the technical knowhow to boot! Let us help you get started!. Contact your local rep for more information, or schedule an appointment at your nearest showroom.
Don't miss out on Schluter® downloadable resources and their product estimators.
Schluter®-Systems offers an extensive line of finishing and edge-protection profiles in a variety of shapes, colors, patterns, and sizes that open the door to limitless design possibilities and provide attractive alternatives to trim pieces.
Schluter® profiles protect tile edges from cracking and chipping, eliminate the need for caulking, and provide easy transitions between adjacent floor and wall coverings. Integrated within any field tile, profiles can add bold or subtle elements of design, while ensuring the integrity of your tile installation.
Why are Schluter® membranes important? They allow your subfloor to expand and contract separately from your tile making it less likely to crack. By helping maintain the integrity of the tile, they're also protecting your tile installation investment.
For an extra layer of luxury, Schluter® also offers a floor warming and sound mitigating system with DITRA-HEAT and DITRA-HEAT-DUO.
Building Panels or KERDI-BOARD and accessories are multifunctional waterproof building panels used to build custom vanities, shelving units, tub surrounds, wall partition—and so much more. All of these products not only provide waterproof barrier, they are also vapor barriers.
Using the right thin-set mortar is crucial. For a successful tile installation, Schluter® has a full line-up of setting materials specifically formulated for use with Schluter® membranes and boards. Limited lifetime warranty available when used with applicable Schluter® products

Contrary to popular belief, tiles and grout joints are not waterproof. It's always best to install tile in conjunction with a waterproofing system that effectively manages moisture and vapor, and prevents mold growth.
